Café Giorgio Lombardi

Café Giorgio Lombardi is not only a café, here in Berlin – Mitte at Rosenthaler Platz right next to Rosenthaler Straße one of Berlin’s best ice creams is served to you. There are a wide range of varieties, from normal chocolate and vanilla ice cream to ricotta with candied orange.

Here, the ice cream is not only stuffed into the waffle or the cup, as in Italy, but also unbelievably good Italian quality ice cream is available. Even the biggest critic among you will find something to lick here. All types of ice cream and new ice cream creations are regularly freshly prepared. We particularly liked the chocolate, which was available for free in the ice cream cone on request. Special varieties are for example: banana-ginger sorbet, ricotta with candied orange and many other seasonal delicacies.

The ambience is chic and modern, outside there are a few tables for sunbathing and licking ice, but on the other side of the street there is also the Weinbergpark with more seating and sunbeds. Another highlight in the café is the chocolate fountain.

Another special feature, Café Giorgio Lombardi keeps its ice cream in so-called Carapina. These stainless steel containers with lids protect the ice cream and sorbet from loss of aroma and taste, and the ice cream is also protected from air. Only natural ingredients are used in the production process.
