Labor

The Labor Bar in Berlin - Friedrichshain delights with its unique concept and the many different flavors of the beers.

The Labor Bar at the subway station Samariterstraße in Berlin – Friedrichshain was opened on 02.02.2018 and lives up to its name, here you get the feeling of sitting in an operating room or in a chemistry lab.

Welcome to the Labor Bar, a craft beer bar wrapped in white. Located directly on Boxhagener Platz in Boxhagener Kiez in Berlin – Friedrichshain, the bar is located in the center of the nightlife district of Berlin.

In the Labor, you’ll only get beer from Erlenmeyer flasks. The whole interior is very minimalistic and reduced, everything is in a white tone, you will feel like in a real laboratory. Even the bartenders wear white lab coats when they serve.

From a total of twelve spiral taps, six in-house beers from the Mad Scientist brand from Hungary are tapped. There are other regional and international beers, all of which you can read on a periodic table at the bar. Everyone will find something here, there are beers with lime or mango taste, especially but also tasty or craft beers. Another interesting taste possesses the Berliner Weisse, which was brewed from Spreewald cucumbers.

We recommend that you start or end the evening here, as the bar has only recently opened and is still very crowded.
