Directly on the Spree is the Ur-StäV (Ständige Vertretung), short for permanent representation. Angela Merkel, Gerhard Schroeder, Guido Westerwelle, Ursula von der Leyen, all the big names of the German political scene have already arrived here. Thanks to the proximity to Berlin’s government district you will find here politicians, diplomats and celebrities from the media world, such as Thomas Gottschalk.
