Café Anna Blume
Café Anna Blume is a name that one should be familiar with, if interested in a café that offers both an out-of-this-world breakfast and a large display cabinet of delicious pies and cakes! It is located near Kastanienallee at Eberswalder Straße in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin.
Since its opening in 2005, this cafe has only grown and become one of the most favored of its kind in Prenzlauer Berg. Its yard is decorated with beautiful flowers and provides a direct view of the heart of Kollwitzkiez. Café Anna Blume is a jewel among many others, with large and light premises, infused with the scent of flowers, artistically painted walls and an enjoyable ambience. There is a vast outside area that is open from late spring until early fall and spreads from the entrance up to the sidewalk.
Speaking of the menu, we could call it very diverse and satisfying. It is filled with coffee variations, sweet and savory crepes, small breakfasts, omelettes, fruit and cereal, several breakfast combinations, snacks, soups, salads, warm dishes, homemade ice cream and of course: Beautifully decorated cakes and pies. Those can be pre-ordered for personal events, e.g. with a certain lettering, as well. Also the beverage menu has a lot to offer with cocktails, wine, beer, aperitif, digestif and hard liquor.
JUMP Berlin’s opinion:
One of the best addresses in Berlin to drink coffee while having a taste through some (or all) of the cakes and pies! The breakfast menu is just abundant, which makes this café one of the most famous places to go for brunch. Stop by with some time on hand and on a sunny day to enjoy the outdoor seating.
A floral café in the Kollwitzkiez with a multifaceted menu of breakfast, pies and warm meals. A summer must-do in Berlin!
