Data Kitchen

High-quality food meets technological innovation. At Berlin's Data Kitchen you can order your food online or via app and enjoy it "offline" in the dining place located in SAP's "Data Space."

Aren’t you tired of waiting for your food while sitting in a crowded restaurant, wasting your time with being frustrated and aggravated? Then you should absolutely consider stopping by the Data Kitchen in Berlin – Mitte. This spectacular dining place close to the underground station Weinmeisterstraße near Alexanderplatz is one of Berlin’s most innovatory restaurants.

GET THE APP, GET YOUR SNACK: “SLOW FOOD SERVED FAST”

The Data Kitchen is a brand new gastronomic venture launched by cookie and SAP. The restaurant is part of the “Data Space,” SAP’s Berlin-based location. To dine in this fancy and unconventional restaurant you can either order your food online or simply download the Data Kitchen app (iOS and Android) and the adventure begins. And here’s the trick: there is no waiter, no waiting. You order your food in advance and specify what you want to eat at what time. Then you just have to arrive punctually and your dishes are freshly prepared for you. You can access your food on the so-called “Food Wall,” where your dish is prepared in a glass-box with your name highlighted on it. No waiting, simply “slow food served fast.”

BERLIN’S CULINARY CLASSICS INTERPRETED INTERNATIONALLY

The menu entails a broad range of dishes from Berlin’s local cuisine, all of which are interpreted in an international way. The restaurant proprietors go in for regional and high-quality products. This emphasis on quality food and technological innovation is reflected in the modern and minimalistic interior décor, too. The colors of the dining room are designed in dark, warm earth tones, which makes for a familiar atmosphere and a cool and creative flair. Many visitors are locals, as the Data Kitchen is considered an insider’s tip among Berlin’s canteen and restaurant visitors. You can have breakfast from 9 am til 5 pm. Lunch is served from 11:30 am on, with dishes ranging between 8,- and 16,- Euros.

JUMPBerlin says:
