Chen Che
Chen Che (Viet.: bowl of goodness) in Berlin-Mitte fits perfectly into the busy shopping ambience of Rosenthaler Straße and helps the “in” district gain a new asset to its Vietnamese repertoire.
This teahouse is a memorable experience, not only with its lovely and traditional interior and exterior, but with large and delicate servings of Vietnamese drinks and dishes.
No glutamate or other additives in any of the dishes, is what it promises to its guests, which include many sweets and desserts that are also supplemented by more savoury dishes. The selected menu items are made from regional products only and demonstrate a very high standard of quality.
Available for events and reservations as well, Chen Che provides you with many first impressions of the traditional tea culture in Vietnam. Daily from 3pm to 6pm you have the opportunity to order a pot of organic green Sencha-tea and three pastries from the attached family-bakery for a fair price.
It is also possible to participate in a rare Vietnamese tea ceremony, where the tea master introduces you to all the traditional rites and habits surrounding the topic of ‘tea’.
