Münzstraße and surroundings

There is a lot to discover in the streets around Hackescher Markt. Away from the crowded square and the Hackesche Höfe, small shops offer a very special shopping experience.

In Rosenthaler Straße you will find several stores from the mainstream segment and some smaller, inexpensive shops. In the nearby Weinmeisterstraße, not far from the subway station of the same name, you will find the famous Absinthdepot shop as a real treat. Here you can buy different Absinthe varieties under expert advice.

In the Alte Schönhauser Straße you will find smaller designer labels and Berlin boutiques like Greta & Luis.

If you have a weakness for the big brands, you are at the right adress  in Münzstraße. Here pretty much everything that has a name and rank has settled down in the course of time.

The Neue Schönhauser Straße is also worth a detour. If you find out that after your shopping trip, there is an ebb tide in your wallet, you can visit a lot of small galleries here.
