Zoologischer Garten

In the midst of the Western part of Berlin, in Charlottenburg, are Zoologischer Garten and Zoo Aquarium, the oldest zoo in whole Germany.

There are approximately 25.000 animals and 2.000 different species to be found on 33 hectares. The zoo is separated in different areas, such as the hippo house, bird paradise and monkey enclosure. Both tourist attractions offer shows, guidances and feeding at certain times during the day, that can be booked ahead online or on site.

Zoo Aquarium trumps with its gorgeously garnished habitats, that house multiple fish, snails and jellyfish; but also several reptiles and amphibians are to be discovered on the various floors of this building.
