Topography of Terror
Since 1987, the Topography of Terror has been a documentation center for the investigation of Nazi crimes, particularly the reign of 1933-1945. Located at Niederkirchnerstraße between U-Bahn Kochstrasse and Potsdamer Platz, you will find this spectacular museum of ‘terror’ which once houses the Secret State Police (with its own prison), the SS Leadership, the security service of the SS (SD) and the Reich Security Main Office during WWII.
The museum had 1.000.000 in 2015, making it one of the most visited attractions in Berlin. The space features various exhibitions on the matter and also has temporary ones. At the same time, it functions as a documentation center.
Admission is free.
