Filetstück is a meat delicatessen shop like no other, right at the subway station Eberswalder Straße near Kastanienallee in Prenzlauer Berg. The location has an authentic barbecue character, where you’ll be served only the best meat from cooks with expertise.
The restaurant convinced us with its gourmet quality of beef and lamb and mouth-watering substitutes, like baby leaf spinach with ginger lime sauce and glazed carrots. The restaurants speciality is without doubt the so-called dry aged meat (beef from the Niederrhein, that has been dried for over four weeks and processed to steak).
The belonging butcher’s shop has a lot to offer for take away as well. Visitors can participate in a cooking class, allowing them to master the art of meat preparation. In Neukölln has meanwhile opened a second branch with a parallel structure.
